Mrs. Tafelmeyer
Lindsey Tafelmeyer is originally from Bismarck, and an alumna of the Bismarck Public Schools orchestra program. As a student, Mrs. Tafelmeyer performed with the local Suzuki Program, the Strolling Strings, the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra, and the All-State Orchestra. When Mrs. Tafelmeyer graduated from Century High School, she enrolled at Concordia College to complete her Bachelor's of Music Education degree. Shortly after graduation in 2006, she accepted a teaching position with Fargo Public Schools. For six years, she taught elementary and middle school orchestra students, as well as a summer spent mentoring strings students with Trollwood Performing Arts School.
In 2013, Mrs. Tafelmeyer accepted a position teaching elementary orchestra with Bismarck Public Schools. Besides her current work with Legacy High School and Simle Middle School, she is the Executive Director for North Dakota Music Educators Association, as well as an ASTA member. Mrs. Tafelmeyer performs with the Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra and the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra. She and her husband have two young daughters. |
